Behandelupdate - Week 3

Oké, week 3, de zwaarste week tot nu toe.

De bloedcontrole van maandag was niet oké, fysiek ga ik achteruit, mentaal is het ook heel zwaar. De medicatie is eigenlijk te zwaar voor mijn lichaamsgewicht en toch moet ik nog een hogere dosis.

Mijn aders zijn uitgeput van het dagelijks prikken, mijn nieren deden het niet meer goed, mijn lichaamsgewicht daalt, misselijkheid speelt op, darmen kunnen niet meer volgen, bloeddruk stijgt. De herx is zwaar deze week.

Op woensdag werd de nierfunctie opnieuw gecontroleerd en die was gelukkig genormaliseerd dus ik mocht verder doorgaan met de behandeling maar niet meer volgens het schema.

Hyperthermie ging niet door deze week omdat ik te zwak was. Ik moet nog meer rusten, maar rusten is alles wat ik doe.

Hopelijk kunnen we de laatste week wel terug volgens het schema verder opbouwen en mag ik na volgende week thuis de behandeling verderzetten.

Week 3, the toughest and roughest week of all. It was hard both physically and mentally. On Monday the weekly blood check wasn't allright, my kidney function dropped. Also my veins are tired of the daily pricking, they draw no blood, they get big bumps and hematomas. My body weight still goes down, I am still so nauseous, my bowels can't take the meds anymore, my bloodpressure is too high. The herx is really bad this week and it is so hard.

The dose of the medication is too high for my body weight but we still have to rise the dose to get to my protocol..

On Wednesday the bloodcheck for my kidney was normal again so I was allowed to continue the treatment but not as the plan said.

I did not do the hyperthermia this week because I was too weak.

I need to rest more, but resting is all I do.

Let's hope we can do the last week according the plan and I will be able to go home after next week to continue the treatment at home.
