Germany Pt. 2

I'll explain a bit more about my appointment in the German clinic

Let me walk you through the consultation.

We started by overlooking the test results, which obviously showed that I am fighting a bacterial infection.

We were a bit surprised by the amount of muscle damage I have, we did not expected it to be so high. There is not much we can do about it at this point, rather than be careful with my physical therapist and not pushing my limits.

My natural killer cells are very low, which means my soldiers fighting the disease have died on the battlefield unfortunately.

It was not a surprise to find a high amount of Borrelia bacteria (which causes Lyme Disease). We could confirm the co infection Tularemia, which actually, in my region, is quite rare. That's why we wanted to be sure about it before starting a treatment for it.

Some other co infections weren't very clear so we can't say for sure it is negative, so they will be tested again later on, to be sure we don't miss anything.

I already have overcome one co infection with my previous treatment!

So with this knowledge, we immediately started the treatment for Tularemia, which is a rather short one, of 14 days after which I will send blood for testing again. In the mean time we start supporting my body in a natural way according to my treatment plan given.

Together with the clinic, we will decide when to start the treatment at the clinic itself. In my case, when I can tolerate the medication good, I will need to stay for 4 weeks (if they need to go slower with the meds, it can be up to 6 weeks). I will get several infusions as well as light therapy, ozon therapy, magnetic field therapy and whole body hyperthermia. I will be evaluated regularly and medication will be adjusted when needed. Normally after those weeks, I would be ready to continue the treatment myself at home and the evaluations will be less frequent.
